Here's everything you need to know if you're looking to join us for our virtual AGM on Monday 14 September 2020. Follow the instructions below to pre-register now!
Because of the coronavirus crisis, our AGM will be a bit different this year.
To make sure we can keep people safe and respect social distancing, we will be taking advantage of the additional flexibility offered by the government to hold a ‘virtual AGM’.
This will mean that members can join the meeting from the comfort of home through video conferencing, using a smartphone, tablet or computer.
If you want to join the AGM, you’ll need to pre-register by midday on Monday 14 September.
We just need a few details to register you for the virtual AGM, so that we can make sure everyone who joins the meeting is a Watford Community Housing member.
Thanks for pre-registering! Before the AGM, you will receive an email with a link to the meeting itself. Just click on that link from 6pm on Monday 14 September and it'll take you straight to the meeting, which starts at 6.15pm.
Please read the information below to make sure you don't have any problems joining the meeting on the day.
The meeting will be powered by Zoom. For the best experience, we recommend downloading the free Zoom app, which is available for a wide range of devices including desktop computers, tablets and smartphones.
When you click on the meeting link, you will be prompted to download the app. If you already have Zoom installed, the meeting will open in the app automatically.
If you would prefer not to download the app, you can just join from your normal internet browser on a computer or tablet by clicking ‘join from your browser’.
If you would prefer not to use video conferencing, you can still listen to the AGM by phone – but you won’t be able to vote or participate in the meeting, so you will need to make sure you vote by proxy in advance. To listen in, call 01923 209260 from 6pm on Monday 14 September. Calls will be charged at your standard rate.
